HELP & SUPPORT

A clear start.
Help when you need it.

VDK LabelCraft is a Native Mac Desktop App for the Brady M211, currently being prepared for the Mac App Store. Start with a guide or contact us with the details of your issue.

Common questions

The printer is not connecting. What should I check?

Enable Bluetooth on your Mac and allow LabelCraft access in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Bluetooth. Turn on the M211, close another app that may own its connection, and use Printer → Find M211. If another app owns it, hold the printer power button for five seconds until the blue light blinks, then reconnect.

Why is the cartridge not accepted?

The selected design must match the cartridge detected in the connected printer. Check the SKU rather than only the material name. Use Loaded Cartridge can select the installed stock. Wait for the printer to finish reporting its dimensions and status.

Why does my physical label differ from the preview?

The preview describes the design and printable area. Printer margins and material placement can affect the cut result. Use Printer Setup & Calibration and check one physical label for each new printer/cartridge combination. The hatched clear tail is a guide, not printed artwork.

Why did my CSV import fail?

Use UTF-8 CSV with a text header. Name and copies are optional. Quote multiline fields and fields containing commas; double embedded quote marks. Invalid rows reject the import rather than partially importing the list. The plan is limited to 1,000 labels including copies.

The batch stopped or the result is uncertain.

Inspect the actual labels before sending anything again. LabelCraft stops after a cancellation, failure, disconnect, or uncertain result and does not automatically retry. Canceling cannot retract data already sent to the printer.

Where are my designs and drafts?

They are kept locally on your Mac. Use Unsaved Labels to recover edits, and Library & Backups to export editable saved designs or restore a previous library version. Exports do not automatically include pending drafts.
