APP PRIVACY · UPDATED NOVEMBER 1, 2026

Your labels.
On your Mac.

This notice describes the current pre-release VDK LabelCraft Native Mac Desktop App. It is separate from the website privacy policy. The final App Store build and its privacy disclosures will be checked again before release.

The current app’s approach

Label designs and local files

The app stores your label text, design settings, drafts, and library backups in your user account’s Application Support folder. The existing data location is named Cable Labels for compatibility with earlier builds. Local recovery copies may preserve damaged library or draft data so it can be recovered.

You choose CSV or JSON files to import and destinations for PNG, PDF, or editable JSON exports. Exported files are under your control. Sharing them or storing them in a cloud-synced folder makes them subject to the service you choose.

Bluetooth and printer information

With your macOS Bluetooth permission, LabelCraft discovers and connects to an M211 and reads information such as its identifier, status, cartridge, printable dimensions, and battery state. Print artwork is sent to the printer over the local Bluetooth connection.

The app keeps a local connection identity and printer/cartridge calibration preferences so it can reconnect and preserve placement settings. That connection identity is not included in label library exports.

Local diagnostics

The app maintains a bounded local printer diagnostic log for connection and print-status troubleshooting, with a previous log retained when it rotates. Logs are not automatically uploaded to us. If you choose to send a diagnostic file to support, review it first and send only what is needed for your issue.

Your choices and retention

You can revoke Bluetooth permission in macOS System Settings. You control imported and exported files. Saved designs can be managed in the app, and automatic library backups preserve previous versions. Deleting the application alone may leave its Application Support data, preferences, backups, and diagnostic files on your Mac.

Ask support for help if you want to remove local data while preserving selected exports. We cannot retrieve your local designs or delete files on your device through this website.

Apple, external links, and support

Once the app is available, Apple will handle App Store purchases and distribution under its own policies. Links you choose to open, such as Brady’s material guide, connect to external websites. If you email support, the handling of your message is described in our website and support correspondence notice.
